The Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM), at the instigation of the Princely Palace and its Government, is fully aware of the environmental challenges facing our planet. As a major player in urban mobility in the Principality, we are committed to actively contributing to the ecological transition, while guaranteeing a reliable, comfortable and responsible public transport service.
Our environmental commitment

A bus fleet in transition
We have embarked on a gradual transformation of our bus fleet in favor of cleaner modes of propulsion. The electrification of our fleet is at the heart of this strategy: our aim is to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, noise pollution and air pollution in cities, with a target of a 100% electric fleet by 2030.
Reasoned management of resources
Every gesture counts. That's why we've taken concrete steps to limit our water and energy consumption:
- Bus exteriors are washed every other day, resulting in significant water savings without compromising service quality. Recycling of wash water will be taken into account in future depot development projects.
- Our facilities incorporate water recovery systems and energy optimization devices.
Durability and repair
CAM favors in-house know-how and follows a maintenance policy that aims to "make buses last" as long as possible, thus guaranteeing low maintenance costs and reduced bus downtime.
Used spare parts and consumables are systematically sorted and recycled.
Sustainable choices every day
In addition to our transport activities, we integrate eco-responsibility into our internal practices:
- Selective sorting in our administrative and technical premises (tires, used oils, batteries, etc.)
- Regular training of our employees in eco-gestures,
- Partnerships with local players committed to sustainable development.
